Key Accountabilities:
1、Draft and review contracts, and other legal documentation relating to the company's business, including solar panel sales, PV/BESS project development, PV plant construction, financing, Power purchase agreement deals, and O&M of PV plant.
2、Develop templates of contracts or other legal documents for daily business operation.
3、Participate in the negotiation with the clients for the significant deals, commercial term sheet and transaction documents.
4、Provide legal advice to the company on matters such as labour compliance, FIRB compliance, company compliance and prepare any related compliance report to authorities as required.
5、Work with external law firms to handle disputes or lawsuits through negotiation, mediation or arbitration.
6、Manage legal risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and provide legal training to staff to ensure the improvement of their legal awareness.
7、Collaborate with other departments within the company to provide legal support and guidance.
8、Other tasks as designated by line leader or function head.
Requirements:
1、LLB or JD degree
2、An unrestricted practicing certificate is a must-have.
3、A minimum of 2 years experience as a legal counsel, with experience in the renewable energy industry preferred.
4、Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
5、A strong understanding of Project development such as land acquisition, FIRB compliance, and M&A.
6、A team player who is able to work well with others and collaborate effectively.
7、A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and adapt.
